Information

  • Full name: Lass Isolet
  • Age: Unknown
  • Favorite Activities: Unknown
  • Pet Peeves: His Past
  • Type: Unlockable Character

Lass’s mind and body was freed from Kaze'aze's possession after the Grand Chase vanquished Kaze'aze's evil from the world. Although he wasn’t in control of his actions, Lass still felt guilty when he realized that his body was used as Kaze'aze's vessel to devastate the continent and kill countless innocents. The members of the Grand Chase understood that Lass was determined to right his wrongs, and allowed him to join them on their journey to restore peace to the continent.

Lass is quite a mysterious character, whose past is unknown.

Lass doesn't talk often.

Lass apparently remembers Silver Cross Town, his hometown. This is shown in several quest descriptions.

Lass is featured in Ellia Continent and Kaze'aze's Castle dungeons, although he is under Kaze'aze's control in both. He has dialogue in other dungeons after joining the chase.

Lass's Rumored Age

Everything in this section is pure speculation, and is in no way supported by hard facts, or in any way acknowledged by Grand Chase staff. It is merely player and fan assumptions and observations.

However, given the age range of the other Grand Chase characters, he is likely no younger than 14, and no older than 19.

It is a common misconception that Lass is over 100 years old, but this is only due to his quote "You're 100 years too early to fight me." and has no significance to his age. It means that your too weak, you lack so much training, go train for a 100 years, and then look him up.

One estimate would be around the age of 10, as he was unaffected by Amy's charm in the Temple of Cuatal dialog. This estimate however, has no other basis. However, Lass was also possessed by Kaze'aze and carries a very deep sense of guilt and shame, which has left him a somewhat dark and brooding individual. This also may explain why the charm failed to work.

There are also signs he is more on the age line of Ronan and Jin. First off, his spoken taunts and phrases lead one to believe he has been doing his job for some time (The 100 years comment, while an exaggeration, is an example). He's also content to call other combatants "newbies," implying they're less experienced than himself (and not necessarily in a purely insulting way). With the release of the Striker class, it is said Lass was made leader of the Strikers. It is extremely unlikely an entire guild of assassins to accept a ten year old, no matter how skilled, to be their leader. They do however accept him due to his "young age," which furthers the idea he isn't a young man (20+), but still probably amongst the age of the other knights of the Grand Chase (14-19).

Lass is also the tallest male in the game, and his voice sounds quite mature, more so than Ronan, and about on Par with Jin. By these assumptions, Lass is more likely to be closer to the age of 19 than 10, but until the Grand Chase staff decides to officially let us know, all information on Lass's age can only be pure speculation.
While character design cannot take the place of storyline, it should be noted that character appearance and design is intentional, and thus Lass's height, design, and sound is in line with the intentions of official staff.
