A card's appearance. This specifically is a Character card.
Introduced in Season 4: Delight, cards can be used to gain in-game benefits.

Cards are divided into three types:

  • Character cards can be inserted on preset sockets of a character's outfit to add extra stat slots for the outfit.
  • Caddie cards can be inserted on preset sockets of a character's outfit to add bonus effects for the outfit.
  • Special cards can be used once to provide a bonus effect that is instant or will expire after a certain amount of time.
  • NPC cards can be inserted on preset sockets of a character's outfit to add specialized bonus effects for the outfit.

Introduced in Pangya Tomahawk-Second Journey, cards can also be placed on Club Sets as well. Unlike clothing items, club sets require a Club Card Patcher item to be able to insert a card on them.

Cards are received from card packs. Each card has a given rarity which affects their appearance rate relative to other cards. This is shown by the number of stars displayed at the top of the card and by their suffixes:

  • (N) = Normal
  • (R) = Rare
  • (SR) = Super Rare
  • (SC) = Secret Card

The gradient background color of cards indicates the rarity as well:

  • * = Grey
  • ** = Blue
  • *** = Green
  • **** = Red

There are currently four different card volume packs available in Pangya: Vol. 1, Vol. 2,Vol. 3 and Vol. 4. Individual card volume packs are available from the Pangya Shop for 1,800 Points; each of these volume card pack contains three cards. For each card volume pack, a 10+1 Set deal is offered also that can be bought for 18,000 Points.

The Grand Prix card pack is a limited time release card pack that contains a selected number of cards from all volumes. Like the volume packs, each one costs 1,800 Points and has a 10+1 Set that is worth 18,000 Points.

Individual card packs that contain only one card can also be obtained in game through Treasure Points: Bronze Card Ticket, Silver Card Ticket, and Gold Card Ticket. Gold has a better chance at getting a rare card than Silver, and Silver has a better chance than Bronze.

The exclusive Platinum Card Ticket is only available from certain events and has the highest chance at getting a rare card.

Note that Bronze Card Ticket, Silver Card Ticket, and Gold Card Ticket will give you cards only from Vol. 1 to Vol. 3. Platinum Card Ticket will give you the chance to win cards from Vol. 1 to Vol. 4.

Contents

Placing Cards

Each Character, Caddie or NPC card can be placed on an available socket for an outfit piece or club set. Note that once a card is placed, it can not be removed unless a Card Remover type item is used (see Removing Cards for details).

Note also that if a socket is used already and the card is not removed beforehand, another card can be placed in that same socket but will replace the current card in the socket instead. This will cause the card that was previously used in the socket to disappear completely. Make sure to always remove the card from the socket first before changing to a different card to use for that socket.

Clothing Items

Cards can be placed on clothing items freely by choosing the clothing item and placing it in an available socket on the clothing item. The number of sockets available for each clothing item varies and which cards can be placed will also vary.

To place a card on the outfit piece, make sure the outfit is not worn first. Select the card to be placed, select the outfit, and confirm the placement. Once the outfit is worn, the effects will be granted once in game.

Club Sets

Club Card Patcher

Cards can only be placed on a club set by using a Club Card Patcher item. Club Card Patcher item can be obtained in Pangya Shop for 2,500 Points each. There is also an option to buy a 5+1 deal for 12,500 Points.

Each club set has two sockets only that can have one Character card and one Caddie card placed on it.

Like clothing items, to place a card on the club set, the club set should be unequipped first. Select the card to be placed and select the club set to place a card in. A card that is placed onto a socket for a club set will automatically use one Club Card Patch after confirmation and is not returnable. After confirmation, whenever the club set is used by any character, the effects will be granted.

One Club Card Patcher is needed per card add.

Removing Cards

Card Removers can remove cards placed on outfits and club sets. From left to right: Shady, Generic, Premium, and Standard.

Once a card is placed onto an outfit piece or club set, it is not possible to remove it and regain the card back through normal means. To remove cards completely on an outfit or club set, a Card Remover item is necessary.

There are 4 different types of Card Removers, each with varying degrees of success:

A Card Remover that successfully works will remove all cards on the outfit or club set and return them back to the Card Holic book. A Card Remover that fails will not do anything to the outfit or club set. Regardless if it succeeds or fails, a Card Remover will disappear upon usage.

Note that if a card is removed from a club set, you will need to use another Club Card Patcher to be able to place a card on the club set again.

Family of Cards

A Caddie, Special, or NPC card belongs in a "family" if a card has a similar effect as another card. This means that cards with similar effects cannot be used together.

For cards that are in the Caddie or NPC category, cards with similar effects will not stack and the card with the higher rarity will be used instead.

For cards that are in the Special category, cards with similar effects will be replaced with the most recent one used.

Below is a table that lists these families. Cards listed in the same box cannot be used together.

Lolo's Card Deck

Using Lolo's Card Deck, you can compound three cards you own to receive a random different card. The card that you receive from the compound can come from any of the four volumes of the Card Holic book. By compounding higher rarity cards, your chance of getting a higher rarity card increases. When the three cards are compounded, they will be deducted from your Card Holic book and the card received from the compound will be added. This process is not reversible.

Vol. 1

There are 41 card slots in the Vol. 1 card book. Only 40 of the cards are available to obtain from card packs. Card #34, Pang Pouch (Small), is only obtainable from Lolo's Card Deck.
